America Learns denoted today that a tutoring strategy created by America Reads – Mississippi member Sherry Martin has been identified September’s National Strategy of the Month. Sherry created her strategy after happening that some of her students were neglecting to acknowledge the letters of the alphabet through conventional instructing techniques. Established in 1998, America Reads Mississippi (ARM) is an AmeriCorps program administered through the Academic Affairs Office of the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning.
