Big Tigger, co-host of BET Style and host of the internationally syndicated radio program, ÂÂLive In the Den with Big TiggerÂÂ, will bring together an impressive line-up of athletes and celebrities for the All Star Celebrity Basketball Game during Big TiggerÂÂs 4th Annual Celebrity Classic. The game will be held Saturday, June 18th at 6:00pm in Howard UniversityÂÂs Burr Gymnasium. Big TiggerÂÂs 4th Annual Celebrity Classic presented by XM Satellite Radio and Big TiggerÂÂs Street Corner Foundation, Inc. are projected to both raise funds for and heighten public awareness of HIV/AIDS.
As the anchor event of Big TiggerÂÂs 4th Annual Celebrity Classic, the celebrity basketball game will showcase the athletic ability of some of todayÂÂs most watched entertainers, while proving that professional athletes can shine in more than one sport. The teams will be coached by the NBAÂÂs elite players, offering qualified instruction to the basketball ÂÂwannabeÂÂsÂÂ. Additionally, the expected 5,000+ fans will enjoy both a national anthem performance from Elektra Entertainment recording artist, LilÂÂ Mo, along with the ÂÂyet-to-be-announcedÂÂ halftime show should resulted to be just as excite as the gimpy itself.
Presented by XM Satellite Radio and the Street Corner Foundation, Inc., the goal of the celebrity weekend is to distribute a minimum ,000 worth of grants and donations to deserving grassroots charitable organizations including Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care and Metro TeenAIDS.
